haha. since karen wants to know, i will try to blog abt it. But if i miss out anything, feel free to edit my post okie? =D
okie, starting with their presents!!! It is so difficult to shop for their present! presents that suit them and they will like. so hard so hard. So mingwei, elaine and me (poor ppl) shopped and shopped. .... and..... i dunno how to describe. so i WILL SKIP IT! heee. (pls add for me if u wan to) ^^.
As for the surprise, we started talking abt it on thur. We suggested these: 1. to hide their presents and make them find it; 2. get them to make their own cake within time limit; 3. to get guys to give them flower. We talked but never reached a conclusion. so the whole thing dragged to Friday - Surprise DAY!!!
On friday morning, (karen if u are there u will know how lost we are) we tried discussing but ruby and gene are there. you can say we quite worried as they have high expectations for their surprise. very high~~~~~~!!!! Then, free time comes. Once again, mr varella disappeared for sometime during physics prac and some of us discussed while the rest keep Ruby & Gene occupied. Hee, YuHui supported my idea of having "treasure hunt" while 'torturing' them. Muhahha. ~jkjk~.
So we started planning. During break, we gave briefing abt what we are going to do. It goes like this (not very detailed, though):
First, we will have lunch in school together.
Second, 2/3 girls will go and set the map for treasure hunt. Of course, we drawn them an inaccurate map, ^^ just to make it more interesting.
Then, 2 girls will go out and buy durians.
After all are ready, then the treasure hunt will start.
Then, rain started pouring. But, surprise is still on.!
So after school, we started eating. Eat and eat. Mingwei, yuhui and elaine then set off to set the treasure map. After a while, me and mei ying went out, attempting to buy durians while bridget , kaigai and eunice kept ruby and gene occupied. Well, map setting went quite well but durians were so expensive. No idea how and what to buy so mingwei helped in buying. We brought the durians back to school (ahbubu was 'injured' by the durian on the way back) and hid them inside the boxes kaigai took from Zap.
With that, station masters of the 3 stations set off to hide themselves. Of cos, the map was hidden too. Once all were ready, we gave gene a call and hinted her whre to find the map. Me and mingwei was at the first station - somewhere behind canteen at the 3rd floor, somewhere there. waited eagerly.
But no one come after very long - why?
Cos ruby and gene went the wrong way, thinking that the map was accurtaely drawn and the direction of stairs must be followed. Kaigai and bridget hinted them. We wanted to scare them so, we the unknown shorts found at where we are, we hanged it on the handle so that we know when they have arrived. Soon, they came, making a big fuss abt the shorts and we managed to scare them ahhahah.
Gene and ruby were made to act out a song (si ben dao yue qiu) so that kaigai will understand (very difficult task, lol). Before leaving for the next station, they were made to carry the 2 boxes (with durians inside) along with them. (ruby doesnt like durians so we sprayed deodorant. of cos not on the durians but on the boxes!)
Then they left for the next station. Their bags, were carried by mingwei and me. -.-'' so heavy.
I know not much abt station 2 and 3 and mingwei and I went off to buy the plate of very colourful fruits (to replace the cake). (pls add =))
Elaine and mingwei place candles onto 2 big pieces of watermelon and ta-Da, the 'cake' was ready. Walking out from behind the stage (outside school, next to the hawker centre), we surprised them and sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY song. Then we start eating the fruits and the durians. haha. Only me, ming wei and gene got to taste the delicious durians wor! haha. So nice, right? Ruby tried durian for the first time. And apparently, she did not like it. Kai gai, yuhui and bridget dont like too. so the 3 of us dared not go near them or talk facing them.
We lingered around for sometime then slowly, one by one, we went home. The End.
i tink i din make it interesting enough so Anyone and everyone, beef it up so that it is more interesting for karen to read!!..
